A high pH can limit the availability of essential micronutrients like iron, manganese, boron, copper, zinc, and phosphorus, while a low pH can restrict access to potassium, sulfur, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. By regularly testing and adjusting the pH levels of your nutrient solution, you can prevent nutrient deficiencies and promote healthy plant growth.

The kit allows you to easily test the pH by filling the test tube with your nutrient solution, adding a few drops of the reagent liquid, and comparing the resulting color to the included chart. If the pH is outside the desired range, it can be adjusted using pH Up or pH Down solutions.
