Terms and Conditions

At Seed and Soil SA, we prioritise the responsible and legal use of cannabis and its related products. It’s important to note that we do not sell actual weed / cannabis. You have to grow it yourself. Additionally, we refrain from selling any cannabis-related products to individuals under the age of 18 years or younger. By purchasing our products, you confirm your acceptance of our terms and accept full responsibility for your own actions and commitment to adhering the South African laws.

We sell seeds, soils, and growing accessories empowering cannabis use for private consumption. If you choose to break the law, it is on your own accord.

Refunds and Returns:  We only provide refunds and returns on specific products:

Electronics:  If you encounter any issues with electrical products such as lights or fans, please return them in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery.

Nutrients, soil, and amendments:  For nutrients, soil, and some amendments we unfortunately do not accept returns of these items. If the packaging on liquids or soil has been opened or there could be any sort of courier damage or contamination we cannot refund your order.

Seeds:  Because mother nature is unpredictable we cannot guarantee every single seed will germinate, this is unheard of in nature even under the best conditions – what we can do however is beat the statistics by offering extra seeds and the guarantee that our seeds are fresh.

Example: If you paid for 3 seeds we will guarantee at least 3 seeds successfully germinate because we always provide you with extra promo seeds as well just in case there is one bad seed in the pack. If you paid for 5 seeds and out of the 6 or 7 total seeds you received only 4 or less geminated we will replace those seeds free of charge as there is a clear problem. We do not cover the courier fees though so you will have to be sure of your refund request if its only one seed.

We can guarantee the sex of your seeds to be feminised and to grow into a female plant, but we cannot promise you an expected yield or the plant’s life and longevity. It’s also important to note that we do not refund or replace seeds that exhibit hermaphroditic traits. This is because external factors could trigger such traits, and the responsibility doesn’t solely rest on the genetic composition of the seed in question. We only replace the odd 1 in 100 seeds that are fully male due to genetic variability

For any return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Please refrain from sending your purchase back to the courier without contacting us first.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts due to reasons beyond our control.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will email you to confirm receipt and inform you about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and the credit will be applied to your original method of payment within a specified time frame.

Late or missing refunds

We only replace items that are mispackaged, defective, or damaged. To initiate an exchange for the same item, please email us at sales@seedandsoil.co.za.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are only refundable under certain conditions.

We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item. For returns involving high-value items, consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
